U.S. Admits Cannabis DOES Kill Cancer Cells
When you hear the terms marijuana, or cannabis, what comes to your mind? Illegal drugs; ruined lives; hippie liberals; the devil?
What if I were to tell you that the classification it received was completely unfounded, and the U.S. government is finally on the brink of admitting it? Well that’s exactly what’s happening!
In a rare display of what most are calling ‘common sense,’ the government has finally started listening to the science behind it all. The National Cancer Institute has now stated that “cannabinoids may be useful in treating the side effects of cancer and cancer treatment.” It even goes on to state that it’s proven to reduce muscle spasms in patients with multiple sclerosis, will act as an anti-inflammatory, helps to fight tumors by not allowing the blood vessels supplying them to grow — with all of these benefits and the only real side effect being an empty refrigerator, it’s amazing the stigma it holds.
While they have admitted these things, they’re still not suggesting it as a treatment for cancer in humans just yet. They have yet to perform anything but tests on mice (because everything governments do are slow as all get out), and are stressing it’s not a green light for positive medical treatments in cancer patients. Just a few more years and we might see some big changes happen on a global scale!
With the success of legalization in Colorado and Washington state, the proven health benefits, and many more locations attempting to follow suit, it’s only a matter of time! So if you’re still vehemently anti-marijuana, maybe it’s time to re-look at how it truly is.
