Kim Kardashian To Face Legal Action As Robbery Story Continues To Fall Apart?
Some are starting to question whether or not Kim Kardashian was actually robbed on October 3 in Paris.
Digital Music News reports rumors abound that Kardashian and Kanye West may have a pulled a publicity stunt after receiving contradictory information.
Kardashian representatives, for example, have given inconsistent details about what happened: some say two criminals dressed as officers attacked, while another said five.
"So which is it?," questions writer Paul Reskinoff, adding that it's suspicious Kardashian was even left alone without security after only just recently being a harassed a few days earlier. "If it was five, were there really five guys dressed up like Paris cops? That would draw a serious scene, and witness reports."
What's more, TMZ reports there was no surveillance video footage to capture the scene, raising further suspicion.
In addition some find it hard to believe how such an assault could have happened in such a wealthy hotel in Paris - a city with tightened security after various terrorists attacks this past year.
The fact the Paris police department never released a statement adds further suspicion.
Only the French Interior Ministry released anything, but in words writer Reskinoff says that echoed words previously spoken by a Kardashian representative.
Reskinoff also argues the incident "coincidentally" occurred right at a moment it would be advantageous for both to receive the attention.
"It’s been non-stop Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, not to mention Trump vs. Clinton," speculates Reskinoff. "There are even rumors that ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ is getting canceled. They need the publicity, badly. You probably didn’t even know Kardashian was in Paris. Or even that Kanye West was still touring. Until now."
He then turns to the fact Kanye West upset many fans after leaving a concert midway due to the "family emergency."
“We appreciate the great show he put on for fans to close out the inaugural Meadows Festival," read a statement from the festival afterwards. "Our thoughts are with West and his family."
Yet Reskinoff says the timing was suspicious: West happened to leave several songs into the concert, meaning no refunds needed to be issued.
"That critical difference means millions of dollars, and no 'make up' show," he said.
