That's The Real Reason We Never Went Back To The Moon
NASA’s Expedition to the surface of the Moon in 1968 was seen as the most extraordinary scientific development of all time. The technology that NASA and other space organisations across the world now have at their disposal completely eclipses the technology used in the Apollo missions by a considerable margin. This has led some people to question why NASA or other agencies have not returned to the Moon for such a long time.
Former Astronauts Speak Out On Why Nasa Has Not Returned To The Moon
While the official explanation is that scientists, engineers, and astronauts are currently working full tilt on the next stage of space exploration, an intended visit to the Mars, many people believe that the full potential of the Moon has not yet been properly examined. There is still so much that scientists do not know about our mysterious natural satellite. In addition to that, there is a great deal of untapped potential contained on the Moon. It could be used to establish Earth’s very first space colony and the structure of the Moon is comprised of a number of valuable materials which could be mined and put to use here on Earth.
Some have speculated that NASA is wary of returning to the surface of the Moon for some reason. Others believe that the reason for NASA’s timidity in exploring the lunar surface is clear; it is inhabited by aliens.
These theories have been given some degree of credibility by former astronauts who have travelled to the Moon. For instance, Dr Edgar Mitchell, an astronaut who walked on the surface of the Moon during the Apollo 14 mission has said; “After traveling in space, I am fully confident that the aliens are watching us. I do not know how many, where and how they do it, but watching us. We see these ships at all times.”
Another incredibly famous astronaut, Edwin Eugene Aldrin, Jr, aka ‘Buzz’ Aldrin, the second man to traverse the lunar surface has also suggested that there could be life on the Moon. Aldrin had said when he was on the Apollo 11 mission he saw a moving light alongside their space shuttle on the surface of the Moon. He said that there was no adequate explanation for this phenomenon and he thought it could be suitably described as an unidentified flying object.
All of this begs the question – why would the presence of alien life keep NASA away from the surface of the Moon? Is it perhaps that they have been threatening with infringing too closely on alien territory? Or is it the case that they are secretly investigating the alien activity on the surface of the Moon and keeping it a secret from the general public?
