AVOID Hand Dryers in Public Bathrooms [Terrifying TRUTH]
People say you can judge a public bathroom by their hand dryers. According to one study on virus dispersal the hand dryers in public bathrooms are not as hygienic as we think, no matter how sleek and practical they look.
About the study of Hand Dryers
The study was conducted to actually see virus dispersal of three different hand-washing methods: paper towels, conventional “warm air” dryers, and “jet dryers” They discovered that “jet dryers” spread 60 times more viral plaque-forming units than “warm air “ dryers and 1,300 times more than the paper towels . They also found out that jet dryers can fling viruses up to 3 meters (10 feet), standard warm air dryers only managed 75 centimeters (2.5 feet) and hand towels just 25 centimeters (10 inches).
Those who were involved in this study were asked to wear gloves and wash their hands in a suspension of viruses. Then they were supposed to dry their hands with one of the hand-drying methods to see the results which one of them will spread the viruses the most.
This study caused revolted hand-drying creators. They defended themselves putting the blame on the paper towel industries saying that they started the study to rise their sales.
But even if we wash our hands properly, then it’s unlikely that we will get ill from a cloud of viruses blasted from across the public bathrooms. We all have seen how nasty and dirty they can be. Which is why we need to protect ourselves as much as we can – to no neglect the facts we already know.
