They Look Like Normal Steps But When The Waves Roll In... This Is Amazing! (Video)
How many times you have enjoyed a mesmerising musical show by ocean waves itself?
Maybe some of you are going to hear this for the first time, unlike me. When I heard about this place I was so excited that I marked this place for my future visit wishlist. C'mon I can bet you will do the same when you will read about this amazing place, Zadar Sea Organ.
This is Sea Organ in Zadar, Croatia.
The sea-organ, or "morske orgulje" also known as Croatian. It is a 230-foot long instrument on the coast of Zadar, Croatia, is known to play mesmerising harmonies using the movements of the sea.
This is not any regular concrete stairs!
The Sea Organ was divulged in 2005 by architect Nikola Bašić and since become popular among cruise ships and welcomes their tourists to the beautiful town.
The organ might look like large marble steps leading into the Adriatic Sea, but below it lies a series of narrow channels which is connected to 35 organ pipes.
Every set of steps holds five organ pipes and each one is tuned to a different musical chord.
Sound of waves!
Lower steps allow the water and wind to flow in and push out through the channel into resonating chambers which produce songs. They never sound exactly the same twice. Each sound you hear is completely unique.
"A salute of sun"!
An artist named this placed as a salute of sun.
